  • Did he record this with a calculator?

  • lol this guy probably didnt know where the strengths were.. what a dumbass

  • Retards real baseball u have togo with the first call..except on home runs

  • hahaha

  • @drumba5 he droped the ball so he can

  • ummmmm in baseball you cany change a call when you make it you have to go with the first call its in the rules

  • When u make ur call u can't change it

  • unless he drops the ball then thats your final call

  • That is the biggest myth in sports! Umpires change their calls all the time, dipshit! Do you know how many home runs were initially ruled as "in play" but upon discussion with other umps, the call is changed. Whoever came up with the notion that an umpire or referee can't change a call is a myopic boob! LMAO

  • Now that instant replay is instituted in MLB, they can go to the Umpire's "war room"

  • Thats only for home runs. They can't review a controversial call at a base or a play at the plate.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 on homerun plays are umpires only allowed to change their call.

  • @redverter No, umpires can huddle with the other umpires if they aren't sure if they made the right call, and if another ump felt he had a better look at the play, they can reverse the call. However a home run is the only play that umpires can use video replay to review.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 When I umpire, I always stick with my first call. Only time I will consult my partner is when he may have seen something I didn't....like a swipe tag or bobbled ball. Thats it. But it's up to the umpire making the call to decide for help. Learning to stick with your call 99.999% of the time will be an advantage to you, even if you think you made a bad call.

  • @redverter...really?? You always stick with your first call? I dont know how many times I've seen an umpire jump the gun and start to call a guy out and then in the process sees that the ball is no longer in the player's glove.....so obviously, he's safe. But YOU.....being the awesome no call changing umpire you are, will stick with the out call, huh? Good work!

  • @m23cush the reason i stick with my first call is cause i dont make a call the instant the play is made. Read vanparty's comment up above. pause, read, react. that means you wait until the play is over until deciding a call. this ump is not doing his job right. So yea...your compliment is valid. Just dont hate an ump for being alil cocky for doin his job right. Cause alot of umps don't. Good day to you.

  • You can do whatever the hell you want. All that matters is that you make the right call.

  • yeeah u can

  • make up your mind

  • you're gay

  • agreed

  • This is exactly how not to make a call at first base...

  • actually since he went to the foul side of the base line it was just like he ran through the base so technically he never should have been called out there

  • Not true. That doesn't mean he isn't advancing. In this case, every single call by the umpire is correct. Not once does he change his mind, incidentally, despite the misleading title.

  • Actually...the calls look correct! Tag was made (out) but fielder dropped the ball (safe). Then the runner stupidly stepped off the bag without calling time. Runner was tagged again (out), but fielder dropped the ball again (safe).

    COMEDY!!!!!!! lol

  • yeah... funny enough if you look closely, actually ALL calls are correct

  • That's awesome!

  • maybe there was just a bee flying around him or something

  • You sir, made my day.

  • you can't see but he got off of first base so he was out

  • the guy was safe

    so what was it really?

  • If I was the runner i'd be like lol wut?

  • LMAO

  • i cant see anytihng lol...its all white and shiny

  • ha that's funny !

  • i can barely see anything going on

  • wtf!!!!!!!!! lol!!!! the music is so random! lol

  • this kinda looks like a arrested development episode...

  • great show

  • Lol what the hell.

  • your gay turn that shitty music off

  • its on the video you fukin faggot

  • IM GOING TO CUT YOUR BALLS OFF

  • lol

  • The runner is safe. After the fielder drops the ball. The runner is allowed to overrun first as long as he doesn't make an attempt toward second. So anything after the runner being safe is pointless

  • lol

  • lol

  • lol

  • lol

  • lol

  • If i was the coach... i would have punched the ump out...who cals that safe..what a bad ump!

  • master of waffling

  • no no no , i think he is deaf and he is trying to tell the home plate umpire that he cant hear anything. so he is waving his arms around

  • lol

  • What are you guys talking about... he wasn't making a call, he just wanted to dance, give him a break.

  • HAHA

  • great quality here

  • He was out both times but the first baseman dropped the ball twice, hes safe at the end...

  • haha wtf that look stupid xD

  • nice quality

  • i think he was safe... never mind he was out

  • ok that is the gayest umpire ive ever seen... make up ur mind

  • WTF game is this (it looks like softball)

  • Timing, Timing, Timing. Pause...Read...React. This umpire went directly to react, and then reacting again, and again, and again.

  • Hey, it's doorknob handjob. how the F are you doin' Asshole. Haven't seen any of your mindless immature comments lately. Must be too busy polishing your doorknob.

  • make up your mind alredy

  • man ive areally ref with some1 were doing that all calls and this game was one of my most boring and talkshiting game lol

  • yea...deff needs some "pause,read,react" scholling

  • i was always taught to replay the play in your head then make the call

  • true unless the runner touches the base before anything ... as soon as the runner TOUCHES the bag both arms go to the side... replay it in your head on an out call.. make sure the fielder had possesion and his foot on the base

  • lol thats why u have to wait wait wait.

  • all good umpires know that timing is the proper use of eyes. don't call it until you see it or don't call it until its over!

  • lol

  • get a new video camera :)

  • Someone needs to learn one of the most important rules of officiating.

  • someone needs a video camera with a hard drive in it.
