u r right about that, there are someo really shitty books at marvel. Try reading INVINCIBLE IRONMAN, the first trades are already out. Its a realy great book, give it a try.

I would much rather read a comic online than buy them in store. I have to drive 45 mins to find a decent shop. Granted there is something to be said about collecting comics, but that is pretty much dead as it is anyway. It will never be like the old days when a #1 could some day be worth 20 grand or something. I think comics should go digital, many more people would check it out online I believe.

i personally like reading my comics on the computer. kindof ashamed to say that i do at the moment but, i can't afford all the comics and i always pick up everything i can in trade.

things i don't like about in hand comics are the storage, my fingers get sticky from the ink in hot weather, they get damaged easy. it's harder to read them when you need to get out 6 seperate books in bags with cardboard and they're bigger on the computer.

If image keeps taking pride on some of the project they have that are huge hits or underground hits, they could do it again on a level of not what you think it is popularity. When they did it the first time you saw it coming cause it was, well, all over the place and targeted to popular concepts and character styles. Not so much the case these days.

Runaways is not a girl focused comic.

Girl Comics:

Buffy, Emily the Strange, Strangers in Paradise, Lenore, Blankets, Courtney Crumrin, and Scott Pligrum.

Not that men can't enjoy them as well, but those are targeted towards a female audience. You can't put Runaways into that category, because it's dose not just target women like those other titles.

I agree Marvel Has been alot Funner then DC this Decade! DC has still had some fun stuff, I enjoy Brave & The Bold & The Various Titans Series, as well as Blackest Night, But Besides that most of the Stuff DC Has done this Decade has just been kinda Half-baked, Deppressing or Poorly Written!

Indeed and marvel hasn't perpetrated banal, money-grubbing rubbish like Civil War, Secret Invasion and Dark Reign.

The better marvel titles tend to be the ones that don't get much promotion like Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, Guardians of the Galaxy etc.

The best thing that DC is doing right now if they have to make a title 3.99 they make up for with more pages or a sidestory in it. And really most of thier stuff is 2.99. The only 3.99 DC stuff in my pull list are Booster Gold and Blackest Night and one of them is a event and the other has a backup story while Marvel is "People will buy it anyway lets rip them off".
