It's not that the guy is bad, he's a pretty good shot... the only thing about him is that he has pretty terrible situational awareness (you open up your flank to get shot from, you throw nades near marked friendlies, and you are too involved to hear them telling you to do things the first time).

The problem is he doesn't know much about the military. When a fireteam breaks into a group of 2 and a single soldier you are supposed to follow the single guy to make 2 grps of 2.. not stay with the majority and leave him to die. He also doesn't seem to understand enemy position calling when they yell 1 o clock or whatever at him. He doesn't scan for AA guns before soft targets.... the game expects you to know a BIT about the military.

I died both times when they said 'the vehicle at 11 o'clock' & 'Mortar behind the rocks'...so I was shooting both targets but obviously didnt kill them fast enough, way to blow it out of proportion
