"when I see a foreign person its like it doesn't belong" if you really think that then you'll realise you don't belong their either. Don't film in shrines.
@TheAutumnAyane Hun, I totally realize that I am foreign, and I also realize that showing ppl as much of this beautiful culture as possible is important. If I function in my capacity as foreigner, then I do fit. Sorry to offend, but no one in the shrine said not to film, and in fact, they were more eager to show Kyoto to us than anything else.
@TheAutumnAyane Maybe not, but it is a way to get them interested enough to find out. I have found more and more that people who start their interests in Japan with frivolous things like media tend to move on to more educational and cultural pursuits in the way of Japan

@Emirichan317 its all very well being a tourist but be aware that shrines are sacred religious structures.
Saying "this is where that girl was in that movie" is not the best way to enlighten people about O-Inari sama, the most worshipped god in Japan.
