Also, how can you tell if your jailbreak is FOR SURE unteathered with this process. I just did this and Cydia works, but I dont know how to verify if you have an unteathered JB or not.

@crazy20022 make sure that the type of file is .ipsw and as i mentioned in the video make sure its in the same folder for easy access. if that dosnt work try seeing if its a hidden file in the properties!

@patra8081 I had the same prob of stuck at the hardrive screen during redsnow... then i just exit my device out of recovery mode with RecBoot or u can also use tinyumbrella.. Then i restarted my pc. then I connected my device and itunes pop up and i closed itunes and then with clt-alt-del i started the task manager. in that under the processes there is iTuneshelper, u end that process.... and the continue with the redsnow jailbreak.. and i really worked and my device is working thanx 2 TOXIC...

@lliu06 Well to be honest, it depends on what modem firmware you have. you can check it out on settngs > General > About and see if your modem firmware is over 1.59.00 youre going to have to wait another week for the other unlock to be released if not you can!!

Do you know if it is possible to connect the iphone 4 to itune, reset everything and restore from the backup of the iphone 3 to downgrade the baseband to 05.15.04 and unlock?

Nope you wont have any problems with the unlock thats going to be released for the baseband 3.10.01 because its not a modded jailbreak. :) HAPPY CRACKING
