I don't know why people think this game was such a blowout, they lost by 11pts. I can see if they lost by 17 or 20pts. People need to get real, Jordan and Pippen lead a furious comeback in the 4th quarter but ran out time and energy but Utah did play well though....
@CamBowen25 Considering how close the finals were, yes. I know you prolly think the bulls were the greatest team of alltime, so any margin of victory in the finals against them is a beatdown.
lol at butthurt Jazz fans. You're so desperate for something to feel good about that you want someone with a Bulls channel to show highlights of one of the only games you won. Go eat a sausage.
mike and scottie played well offensively. some games you can't win. utah needed that game and it showed. 11 point lose in finals, not that big of a deal. 2-1 series.
i really wish we would bring back our green jerseys and are note logo it was so much cooler I hate our logo on our court it needs to be a note classic
What happened to the Bulls in this game? They got off to such a good start with 3 straight three-pointers, and then collapsed. For the record, Pippen tied an NBA record with 7 three pointers.
The info about this clip talks about how well the Jazz played and how good they looked, and then you proceed to show Bulls highlights. If it's about MJ, I'm just curious why you did that.
Why though? I would understand if they were general highlights of several different games, or highlights in which contributed to winning the game. You're showing meaningless highlights in a game they were blown out in. Would be nice to see a balanced overview of all the games. But, you're the Bulls fan, so I guess the next response would be for me to shut up and quit whining about it.
@ForEmily23 nah i kind of agree with the other guy, you can't really show highlights of a blowout game of the team that gone blown out... malone had 37 points this game, he deserved more highlights
i like the way you are making these videos. I hate when others focus on jordan alone and dont show us highlights of the rest of the game. People have to understand that MJ and the bulls were great because the jazz were almost that great. Bulls never dominated the jazz..they were simply stronger when it mattered the most
I understand that, but a) the info about the video is all about how well the Jazz played, b) Michael and the Bulls were blown out in this game, and c) there are some Jazz highlights here. I'm just saying it doesn't make much sense.
@ma7799 I remember this game well. Utah was up by at least 25. Chicago scored a handful of meaningless baskets toward the end of the game to trim it to 11.
in the 1996-97 season, other than chi-town, utah was so freaken hard to win in and the loudest arena. i still say MJ got robbed the MVP that season, great game for Pippen scoring all his points on treys and fts in a finals game, which is probably the all time record for most points without a 2pt fg in the finals. i think him and kenny smith have the record for most treys in a finals game, i think
Yes, there is nothing more classic than the sound of Marv Albert. Matt Gukas did a good job as well. Throw out Walton and bring in Mike Fratello and we would have a telecasting trio for the ages!
No single move so perfectly sums up why I didn't like Karl Malone more than the strange scissor kick he does after the steal at 3:30. It was a good play, but so rediculously ugly.
Sad Malone decided to show up for this game but hardly did the other 11 games against the Bulls in the two Finals. How successful are you going to be if your Go to man doesn't powerful well when you needed him? Missed those two freethrows in game one, but look who came through? The real MVP MJ
I always love when I hear people talk about how Jordan wasn't a great 3-point shooter. He made them when he had to, and hit many 3's to bring his team back or tie/win games. This game is evidence of that.
To me, it was even better than 98 one because MJ didn't try to do anything special, just a change of pace/speed dribble to one direction. It wasnt as beautiful as 98 one but it was for sure as good as the 98 one. For people who said 98 final shot was a push need to look at these, MJ doesnt even need a change of direction dribble to shake off russel.
i hated this old jazz crowd so LOUD
