I chose Bulbasaur. I normally pick Charmander but I though I'd have a change. There aren't many Grass type Pokemon in Kanto: Oddish, Bellsprout, Tangla, Bulbasaur, Eggsucute. Anymore Grass Pokemon that are not evolved? There are loads of water pokemon so don't choose Squirtle but Blastoise does rock. Fire types: Vulpix, Charmander, Ponyta, Growlithe, Moltres, anymore? not evolved in kanto? Thanx 4 these walkthroughs, I enjoy watching them! Thanx again!

I chose Bulbasaur too! When you get far enough, go to four island and put Venusaur and Ditto in the day care. Later, a Bulbasaur(level 5)will hatch out of their egg.

Bulbasaur makes it easy to win the first two gyms. Mainly Misty's gym because its hard to defeat her with Pikachu. But Charmander can defeat Brock when it learns metal claw, Level 13 I think. I have never chosen Squirtle so Idk.

Outta 8 random starters, one 1 will be female

Its done intentionally to make starters harder to breed and trade, making them that much more valuable

1.-I love Bulbasaur cuz it was my first starter pokemon ever.

Bulbasaur is easier to Raise and thrashes the first two gyms, while having Charmander can be difficult at the start of the game. Also Charizard is stronger against the Elite four. Personaly I chose Bulbasaur.
