This aria has been performed by Fritz Wunderlich which Pavarotti himself stated as the most outstanding tenor of the history. Domingo and especially Villazòn are brilliant but cant keep up with the voice of Fritz Wunderlich. The way Wunderlich performed this aria hasn't been reached by anyone else.

villazon is a great ACTOR with less bravura in the vocal. He being so young must be very careful with his instrument as he has already showed signs of wear and tear. not a huge voice. Rather delicate, but he will have a good career as long as he does not feel he must blow the voice up to be something it probably will not.
