I like Al Jazzera very much because of its fresh perspective on news stories from around the world and for covering stories and issues that are rarely covered by the major American television news outlets.

However, it is striking to me that at least 95% of the stories that they present about life in the US is negative or is presented with a negative tone.

As far as the economy goes, yes, times are bad here. But they are also pretty bad everywhere right about now.
