One summer vacation from school, my friend convinced me that we should sell Kirby vacuum cleaners for extra money.
The first day was "the initiation". We learned Kirby songs, veteran salespeople did cartwheels down the aisles, and the branch president came out to show off his gold watch and photos of his mansion and yacht.
Day two, they brought me to a trailer park to sell $2500 vacuums. "Look for trailers with nice cars. They got credit.", I was told. I quit that day.
