Goldberg used to injure his hands a lot doing his spears (sprain, strain, break) doing his finisher spear quite often. This was due to the impact and velocity that he would hit his opponent with. Often he couldn't pull his hands away fast enough, and they would get injured because his opponent would land them on. Edge showed Goldberg his version and he was unimpressed, calling it "kinda wimpy" .Edge would turn in mid-air and land on his side, thus avoiding injuring to his hands.
