I hear a lot of people commenting on suicide with a dismissive attitude and oh they are weak and selfish etc. Part of the problem that these people reach this point is that we as a society don't take the time to understand about mental illness. Depression is a recognized and treatable illness, if those that suffer from it get support and proper treatment.
I put it back to you that you who judge and make no attempt to understand the illness that these people suffer from are the truly selfish!

Bluntly put, the code of Iron, the code of warriors. Its a tough code, but no one said the world was nice, and warm and fuzzy or friendly. Everyday is its own battle, the satisfaction should come from knowing you did what you had to too make it to the next day.

A little while ago my uncle was diagnosed with schizophrenia because of the passing of my grandpa (his dad) finally took a toll on him and we became very sad, and eventually was diagnosed with depression ON TOP of his schizophrenia. He had tried to commit suicide in the hospital but thank the Lord he was okay. A month later, he posted this video onto his facebook wall, and he was okay about a month later. It is true that to take your own life leaves the family carrying the wounds. No family wants to believe that one of them could be in so much pain that they had to take their life. My sister killed herself - it has taken 4 years for the impact to settle in due to the shock of it.If only a person had a brief moment back with them and help them to deal with their life's anxieties. According to Wikipedia, stop me here if this is wrong, but Shaun Morgan(singer) wrote this song for his brother, Eugene, to help him get over his depression. Unfortunately, during one of Seether's tour, Eugene jumped from an 8th floor hotel window where the band was staying. It took them over three times to finish this music video because Shaun couldn't stop crying.

They could have spilled a lot of important information about the coming Russian offensive that turned the war right around. They knew the Nazi torture techniques could plausibly break them. only 3 dislike excellent i love this song... and no suicide is not the answer and without sounding like an arsehole in my opinion its a very selfish thing to do and i know when you in that sort of place its hard to think of others but you just have too. my very very good friend Oliver killed himself in January 2011 and it affected so many of us in very different ways but when our group of friends turned up to his funeral it made us all think why would he do this... :(

ive tried suicide.been to the last breathe and have my mother walk in.. and she saved me and got me help.i was in the hospital for a few months... i had a eating disorder.i wasnt eating to lose weight, and was major depressed from the people making fun of me for my weight peoblems.i cut myself but ill nvr b better.i well forever has this hole of pain inside of me.i still feel i should have died then.. because im dead inside...the outside isnt.. but the inside is. forever more. this song is me.

According to Wikipedia, stop me here if this is wrong, but Shaun Morgan(singer) wrote this song for his brother, Eugene, to help him get over his depression. Unfortunately, during one of Seether's tour, Eugene jumped from an 8th floor hotel window where the band was staying. It took them over three times to finish this music video because Shaun couldn't stop crying.
Suicide is not the answer, as long as people have ears there will always be someone to hear your cries for help.

Love this song. My favorite song. This song really got to me. I've never though of suicide, I've passed through so many sad things, but I don't like suicide, it's the worst thing you can do! Zeal514, be strong and don't do it, life has sadness, but life isn't always sadness or happyness, it has both and more, so just try to live with that, because one day you'll be happy, then sad, happy, etc.

Amazing and powerful song about a very emotive subject. Shows how intrinsically our lives are linked to our loved ones. Our pain is their pain, and our death kills a part of them. Very emotional performance by the lead singer. Great song, Great Post.
