Ja stvarno nemam reci za ovo. neverovatno sta su ove dame izvele. Ovo je pesma koja je zaista zahtevna i ne verujem da ima mnogo belih pevacica koje su u stanju da ovo otpevaju ovako. Prvo sto mi pada na pamet je da ovo uporedim sa izvodjenjem Arete Frenklin i Roberte Flek. Zaista nesto fantasticno. veliki pozdrav iz Beograda i hvala na ovom videu.

lol give her credit for performing it right? lol umm ok Black americans did create soul and gosple music but Radojka Sverko has been doing this kind of music for a long time, she was one of the very first artist too sing Rock Opera i belive after Josipa Lisac. So give the credit to her talent, giving the credit to the past is a bit demeaning to her. But i think her voice did get way deeper than when she was younger.

vinyldaewo: Thanks very much for suggesting that I watch/listen to this video. Miss Sverko is truly amazing! Very few white American female vocalists could sing this well in the gospel style, yet this Croatian singer could worthily have shared the stage with the great Mahalia Jackson herself.

I agree. I like to see proper credit given in music. People in Hrvatska may be unaware that this gospel/spiritual style comes from black Americans whose ancestors came to USA as slaves 200-350 years ago. For a Croat to perform this style so perfectly is MORE than amazing ! ! !
