A lot of errors:

1)Both players have equal income based on the number of tiles ramaining in play (no matter whose tile it is)

2) You can speed up AI by clicking next turn while AI is playing

3) If you attack with equal number to defenders number, than you win the tile, there's just no units defending it.

When you reinforced you could attack him (you had 18 units ready move in adjecent tiles. Rest would collapse and you would aready win.

the amount in the right-bottom corner is actually the amount everyone gets in their turn, and it's based on how many tiles there are left. So lesser tiles == more loot for everyone

You can make the AI's turn go faster. It is the same button for ending your turn, you just click it again when the AI is taking its turn. The expert AI is also generally better than how it was in the video, you usually fight it on bigger and trickier maps though so it has a lot more tricks it can pull.

How some things work:

The money you get on the beginning of the turn increases as the total land in the map diminishes. It is the same for all players. I do not know the ratio.

You cannot overlap harvesters. When 2 or more harvesters harvest the same tile you do not get increased income and the tile drops only 1 tile.

You do not need to have a unit to capture enemy tiles as long as you kill all his units.

Yes, the AI is extremely dumb.

This game would be amazing with about 5x larger maps, where you'd have room to maneuver and strategize a bit. On such tiny maps it becomes more of a kind of game where there's 1 optimal pattern, and not much else.
