Thank you for posting. Seems that Frank Fields has rather changed his views since this was made. Just hope that the children managed to find better role models elsewhere and were able to make a success out of their lives. Unfortunately some people still see the welfare state as a career.
Rich people in this world absolutely need the poor. They require that there be a massive reservoir of poor people who will do menial jobs for low pay and who can be dispensed with whenever it suits the employer. That is what capitalism is all about. There is also the role of the media which blames the poor for their plight and makes them feel ashamed of their poverty such that they stay silent about it most of the time.
This is the UK, people... The majority of it, anyway.
NOT the nicey nicey you see on tv.
15% of Britain lives BELOW the poverty line, set by the W.H.O..
This is real Briatain. And these people are starved, as a message to anyone who doesnt haver a job, to pay the rich man, so he can build an even better life.
Work and obey, and get talked to like scum, or you will be starved to the point of death !
Their only way out, is him to steal, now. Then she will be a prostitute, while he's in nick.
The world is full of people who say what you just said, IIIraverslll. "I would have just packed in smoking, thne i would have been fine, and there would be no hunger".
They cant bloody move, and you just wave your hand and blame them, totally.
Lets hope that if an earthquake comes to town, they think more kindly of you !
Yes, but whats the point, in pointing that out ? It seems to "quell" the seriousness of their dilema. As if to suggest that they would be ok, if they didnt smoke.
And, as i say, the cameraman may have offered them a packet of fags.
But 50,000 people will look at your comment, agree, and move on to another vid. they will NEVER apreciate the seriousness, or hear the messages, or have to acknowledge the problem, because they WANT to ignore it, by saying "they're rich enough to smoke".
Rich people liek to say things like "well, that poverty stricken woman over there said she stopped smoking, and everything was fine - it's cus theyved got TOO MUCH damn luxury".
You see how they twist your comment ?
I try to take care, to put the rich to shame, not encourage them to cast people aside as unimportant or liers.
I know you arent criticising, and so do the rich. But you get my point ?
The whole vid is wasted, by one comment like "just stop smoking, you drop out".
Dismissing a nation's plight, as being the fault of cigarrettes, is allowing them to divide us, in our minds. That is what i should have said in the first place (sorry).
(i agree about smoking, though. Your family must come first, not second).
Documentaries like this show that time moves on but not much changes.

And he's right, there isnt much differnece between being jobless, and being in prison.
To go ANYWHERE, you are charged, and the charges increase, as much as they possibly can, and then a bit more.
Bastarrds !!!

By the way, i like your chanel.
Especially the bit about "Divide and Conquer".
