It doens't matter if you send messages or call calls for the artist you find best. For example if Estonia has a good and entertaining performance and most of the voters like it, that doens't matter. The organizers ask Estonia if they have enough money to arrange this event next year, if no they just give Estonia 2nd place. That's how this system works.

When 2002 Finland didn´t win with this song I was sure that Finland will never win. But luckily we won with Lordi 2006. There is still some fairness in this world! This version wasn´t the best possible. Listen to the original version from Finnish finale. This song is great though I am not personally a fan of Laura. Anyway, thank you Laura for this song and great performance!

Ehm, fellas here. This sure was a good song and should've deserved far more better position than 20. This is just another proof how this competition works. Second of all Finland did not have enough money to organize such event as this, or atleast no interest. This said you probably now get the image of things. The arrangers of this competition simply choose the the winner among the good looking/sounding performance + if the country has enough money or interest to organize this event next year

@wrigleys321 It came from a wrong country. In ESC many people only vote their favourite country not their favourite song. E.g. Russia always get a good result. Many russians live in their many neighbour countries and they would vote Russia anyway, not bebending on whether the song is good or not.
