@GeneralSturnn Biel-Tan is indeed the most war happy Craft-World, they have made several attempts to retake some of the ancient Eldar worlds( with little succes) Their most hated enemy is the Orcs though, I think it's because many of the worlds they have tried to retake were over run by Orcs. The Eldar fuck up a lot, wich is sad because they are already dwindeling in numbers, and each fuck up costs many precious Eldar lives.

@nakrato Everyone hates Orks though, Chaos makes occasional pacts with them, Imperial's that aren't under watch hire them as expendable mercenaries, Orks(if I read correctly) actually prefer to work with Imperial Humans(not Inquisition ones, because they're alot more likely to try and kill the Ork at the end of the deal) and Chaos usually tries the same thing, Orks actually find Humans to be alot like them('cept dere pink an' squishy)
@GeneralSturnn Yeah, people have to remember that Orcs are a vastly divided race, usually in clans where a some big Orc is in charge, only rarely will som Orc that's even bigger and smarter rise up and unite several clans under him (A WAGHH). It's funny, if you think about it, if some big, strong and smart Orc where united even half of the Orc race, he could stomp almost any one out there, in shere numbers and because Orcs are almost impossible to get rid of, wonce they have arrived on planet.
@nakrato the "rule by might" rule the Orks use, they found applies to quite a bit of Imperials, in say an Imperial world does not have any regiments around to encourage resistance, the Imperial world will usually give tribute to the Ork(if his army is big enough)
@GeneralSturnn There are actually more parralels between Humans and Orcs than most would think, you can kinda say that the mind of the average Orc follows the same basic primal rules that are existent in most Humans. It's true that there are more "friendly" contacts with Orcs in the outer areas of the Empire, than the Empire informs the public of. It is of course in the Empires best interest to keep the public in the belief, that can be no mutualy benefecial contact/deals with aliens whatsoever.

@GeneralSturnn - Gav Thorpe's 'Eldar trilogy', set on Craftworld Alaitoc, is quite revealing on just how arrogant and ignorant they are - there's a part in the second book where the main character recalls a philosopher being hounded from the craftworld after claiming that human veneration of 'the Carrion-Emperor' is little different from the Eldar practice of adding their spirits to infinity circuits.
Eldar evidently hate being reminded that they are a part of the galaxy too.

Eldar looks like humans because like most races on Warhammer 40k is based from beings used in medieval stuff and such for example; Orks = orcs, Tyranids = bugs and lizzards, Eldar = Elves, Dark Eldar = Dark elves, Chaos = Demons and human abominations, Necrons = Undeads. Eldar, like all of the first born - Slaan, Eldar, Rashan, do not *naturally* evolve. They were war tools fashioned by Old Ones to fight their wars against the C'tan for them. Eldar are alluded to be pilots, they're Gods, the first warriors.
Humans evolved from a monkey (hence Mon-keigh) race created by the Old Ones. The Eldar contemplated killing them but were too compassionate at the time.

The idea doesn't go well with Eldar reproduction canon. For Eldar to reproduce they must engage in sex over a period, a period of the eldar mentrusial cycle goes on for a very long time. Eldar embrios must be "feed", termly, until birth hence the quadruplex DNA.
The book created a bastard Eldar child - created from a one night stand - that's biologically impossible. C.S. Goto hates Eldar anyway in every book the Eldar are getting butt raped or doing uncharactistic things.

@GeneralSturnn Biel-Tan is indeed the most war happy Craft-World, they have made several attempts to retake some of the ancient Eldar worlds( with little succes) Their most hated enemy is the Orcs though, I think it's because many of the worlds they have tried to retake were over run by Orcs. The Eldar fuck up a lot, wich is sad because they are already dwindeling in numbers, and each fuck up costs many precious Eldar lives.

@GeneralSturnn It does, and maybe my theory is incorrect, but I've seem to have read that they hate Orcs more than anything because they in combat with them a lot. Then I thought that the constant combat could have something to do wtih th Orcs holding some of the nearby Eldar worlds. Maybe I'm wrong but that just seems likely to me.

@nakrato Everyone hates Orks though, Chaos makes occasional pacts with them, Imperial's that aren't under watch hire them as expendable mercenaries, Orks(if I read correctly) actually prefer to work with Imperial Humans(not Inquisition ones, because they're alot more likely to try and kill the Ork at the end of the deal) and Chaos usually tries the same thing, Orks actually find Humans to be alot like them('cept dere pink an' squishy)

@GeneralSturnn Yeah, people have to remember that Orcs are a vastly divided race, usually in clans where a some big Orc is in charge, only rarely will som Orc that's even bigger and smarter rise up and unite several clans under him (A WAGHH). It's funny, if you think about it, if some big, strong and smart Orc where united even half of the Orc race, he could stomp almost any one out there, in shere numbers and because Orcs are almost impossible to get rid of, wonce they have arrived on planet.

@nakrato the "rule by might" rule the Orks use, they found applies to quite a bit of Imperials, in say an Imperial world does not have any regiments around to encourage resistance, the Imperial world will usually give tribute to the Ork(if his army is big enough)

@GeneralSturnn There are actually more parralels between Humans and Orcs than most would think, you can kinda say that the mind of the average Orc follows the same basic primal rules that are existent in most Humans. It's true that there are more "friendly" contacts with Orcs in the outer areas of the Empire, than the Empire informs the public of. It is of course in the Empires best interest to keep the public in the belief, that can be no mutualy benefecial contact/deals with aliens whatsoever.

@GeneralSturnn - Gav Thorpe's 'Eldar trilogy', set on Craftworld Alaitoc, is quite revealing on just how arrogant and ignorant they are - there's a part in the second book where the main character recalls a philosopher being hounded from the craftworld after claiming that human veneration of 'the Carrion-Emperor' is little different from the Eldar practice of adding their spirits to infinity circuits.
Eldar evidently hate being reminded that they are a part of the galaxy too.

the Imperium does try to keep the peace with Tau, but the Tau always break those treaties by taking or converting Imperial worlds.

Eldar looks like humans because like most races on Warhammer 40k is based from beings used in medieval stuff and such for example; Orks = orcs, Tyranids = bugs and lizzards, Eldar = Elves, Dark Eldar = Dark elves, Chaos = Demons and human abominations, Necrons = Undeads. Thats why they look like humans because they are based from elves :P

Eldar, like all of the first born - Slaan, Eldar, Rashan, do not *naturally* evolve. They were war tools fashioned by Old Ones to fight their wars against the C'tan for them. Eldar are alluded to be pilots, they're Gods, the first warriors.
Humans evolved from a monkey (hence Mon-keigh) race created by the Old Ones. The Eldar contemplated killing them but were too compassionate at the time.
Human-Eldar? WHY, the fuck? >,< - OMFG(s).

The old ones created the first born using life that already existed and manipulating it into a new form, therefore it would be completely possible that they took life from Earth to create the Eldar, life that on its natural course evolved into humanity, which explain why they can reproduce (suffieciently similar DNA) and keep both forms of canon from conflicting :) then the Eldar visit Earth and see humanity evolving, and decide not to kill them XD

The idea doesn't go well with Eldar reproduction canon. For Eldar to reproduce they must engage in sex over a period, a period of the eldar mentrusial cycle goes on for a very long time. Eldar embrios must be "feed", termly, until birth hence the quadruplex DNA.
The book created a bastard Eldar child - created from a one night stand - that's biologically impossible. C.S. Goto hates Eldar anyway in every book the Eldar are getting butt raped or doing uncharactistic things.

@Dinyang It's implied, and perfectly possible, just because nobody's actually said it doesn't mean it's not true, besides, the beauty of Warhammer and it's canon is that it's detailed enough to create an amazing intricate universe yet vague enough for anyone to form their own ideas like the two unknown space marine legions, if the Void Dragon is actually on Mars and where the Outsider is, and this, so you can believe what you want to, and I'll believe what i want to, that way we're both happy :)

It's DNA, Eldar have quadhelex DNA. That means it's impossible to naturally create an organism with Human and Eldar DNA because the "G.A.C.T" proteins that create human DNA canot bind with Eldar DNA.
