@MegaARAVINDHAN You mean V, rather than inline, right? They did indeed. You may want to search for Ki-61, which used the same engine as Me109, produced under license. I haven't read many good things about the reliabilities of Japanese liquid-cooled engines (and the planes that used them). Many factors contributed to this, including the lack of critical raw materials (nickel?). The fact that Japanese people had introduced to industrialiazed world just 70 years earlier had to do with this as well.
@ra301 Vow Ki-61 ya. I will check that, I thought in-line would generally mean V arrangement. How did u know about this plane. My guess U from japan or a great fan of Zero's. Any how thanks for the reply
@nsx4life2008 Come to think of it, ive seen that Zeke somewhere... I think it was on my vacation from Pennsylvannia to Duxford... I cannot remember though...
I wish Japanese got hold of the In-line engine line Me109 or spitfire, I wonder want would be the outcome

does the Zeke and the D3A Val have their original wartime engines?
MrJp990 8 months ago
@MrJp990 Zeke is 100% original. D3A Val is 100% fake , it's just a T-6 made to look like a Val.

@nsx4life2008 Oh and does the Zeke have the guns on it still?
MrJp990 7 months ago
@MrJp990 I cannot really tell. The 7.7mm guns looked pretty real from the cockpit.
