@cejason Fillipino doesn't have that Fuh or Vuh sound that english does. Lots of asian langauges are like that. P and B are close approximations with the lip that are used.
There are many languages in the world that contain funny sounds that English can't do either. Infact, just try and learn Spanish etc. Those rolling R and "ll" sound etc.

I can completely understand me and me boyfriend want to get married but alot of times i feel left out because his family only speak tagalog at the table most of the time and my boyfriend translates to me or if not i sit kinda teary eyed eating my meal ,keeping to myself and smile but feel really hurt in my heart. The idea of having a 'universal' language is not new, once there was a specifically designed language for that purpose by a russian guy, it is called Esperanto, sadly it never worked the way he intended to be. Interesting though.

thats a very concept, im a british born filipina but luckily for me i can speak and understand tagalog. why are people soooo ignorant. learning how to cook filipino food isnt only targetting filipinos trying to learn because my best friend is from an african country but he watches your videos and other videos to learn to cook filipino food. my best friend loves kare kare and because im allergic to nuts i cant teach him how to cook it people posting a step by step tutorial in english is great.
totoo yan... its not about the medium... its about the message. and for one thing, every nation has their own accent (or make version) of english, and each one sounds exotic from each other. our filipinized english makes us that... filipino. and its not any bad/better than another national with 'baluktot'(read: non-american) english

I can completely understand me and me boyfriend want to get married but alot of times i feel left out because his family only speak tagalog at the table most of the time and my boyfriend translates to me or if not i sit kinda teary eyed eating my meal ,keeping to myself and smile but feel really hurt in my heart. I try to take time to learn words here and there but i work and go to school and have only two days off a month which really sucks. but i hope to have unity with the philipino culture

The idea of having a 'universal' language is not new, once there was a specifically designed language for that purpose by a russian guy, it is called Esperanto, sadly it never worked the way he intended to be. Interesting though.

Many religious zealots get offended if you write in "Masri" (our spoken language) and say it's a plot to destroy classical Arabic! lol... I wish we could be free of this backwards thinking! thats a very concept, im a british born filipina but luckily for me i can speak and understand tagalog. why are people soooo ignorant. learning how to cook filipino food isnt only targetting filipinos trying to learn because my best friend is from an african country but he watches your videos and other videos to learn to cook filipino food. my best friend loves kare kare and because im allergic to nuts i cant teach him how to cook it people posting a step by step tutorial in english is great.

totoo yan... its not about the medium... its about the message. and for one thing, every nation has their own accent (or make version) of english, and each one sounds exotic from each other. our filipinized english makes us that... filipino. and its not any bad/better than another national with 'baluktot'(read: non-american) english

I actually agree with you, we do need a global language. I do not care what it is I just want one language as well. We should still speak our national language, but we need a global way of communicating. Thank you for the video.
