I like it. The only thing I don't care for is the louvers but to each their own. Saw you customized those yourself. Good job, I just never liked louvers on anything. I love the triple black tho.

Thanks for the comments. I made the rear window louvers by hand out of two old ones that I got at the junkyard. As far as I know, you can not purchase them anywhere for the Mark VII.

Thanks! I put a lot of work into it. It was cool to drive through car shows at night without the lights and have everyone wondering what kind of car it was. I had people accuse me of stretching out a fox body mustang to get that long shape.

Yeah, it added some weight, but I was not looking for the fastest car on the block. I just wanted to put together a car that looked cool and had people wondering what the hell it was. Whenever I went to a gas station or store, I always had people walking over to the car and asking about it. It was a scary looking black car that most people liked and some hated. The hood scoops were functional and the interior was all black leather. I regret selling the car, but that is how is goes.

The scoops were real. There were cutouts on the hood for the airflow similar to the way an 87/88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe was set up. And since you are "The Mustang Man" you should know that the car had a 5.0 HO Mustang engine in it and could blow away plenty of wannabees. I also have 4 Mustangs (including a 428SCJ "R" code, and a 5.0 Cobra), so I am not exactly a ricer and maybe, just maybe, I know a little bit about engines and cars.

i bought a 91' for $350. it was ghetto rigged with flat black paint and mudders in the back, but people were scared of it when it was ont the road. and the borla side exhaust sounded nice. i sold it for scrap for $125, doh! the drivetrain was worth 300 alone, shame.

The louvers were hand made. I should have sold it separately, but left it on the car when I sold it.

Last but not least, the car had a 100 percent black leather interior with a blackface CD player. The inside of the car was just as scary-cool as the outside.

Some people thought I had taken a Mustang and stretched it out somehow. Also, the hood scoops were funtional and not just an add on. I actually cut holes in the hood so that air could enter the engine compartment through the scoops. Cant see it in the video, but the underside of the car had blue lighting as well as behind the black grill.

To each his own. I wanted the car to be as black as possible especially at night. I used to put on the parking lights only and drive through car shows. MOST people thought the car was killer. I did not want the car looking like all the other Mark VII's out there. Everytime I put gas or parked somewhere, I could always count on 1 or 2 people wanting to know what kind of car it was.
