This movie is an American classic, hard to argue. I love how Scorsese at 1:36 has the scene coincide with Travis' internal dialogue and start again as he turns towards the camera. 70s cinema will never be topped. I don't have enough characters on youtube to even try but those of us old enough know this was the decade for American film. You had gritty street (this, F Connection etc) art (God F, Last Tango) and later Jaws, Star Wars blockbusters. Not enough characters to elaborate more.
