I don't understand why Lions hunt cheetahs? When Lions hunt Hyenas, Elephants etc, Its fair enough because Hyenas and Elephants often attempt to kill Lions.

However Cheetah's NEVER attack Lions and Cheetahs are not a threat to the Lions food supply. Cheetah's hunt small, fast Antelope and Deer and Lions hunt large Zebras and Buffalo.

I don't see ANY advantage to killing a Cheetah, CHEETAHS ARE NO THREAT. Lions should kill Hyena's because Hyena's attack Lions in groups sometimes 40+.

i think it makes sense that lions are the "kings" of the jungle because they not only eat herbivores, they can take other carnivores. all you people saying how something doesn't "deserve" to die...a meal is a meal to them.
