Thank you i liked the tip about taking a party planing class..It is a smart to understand more of the meaning of an event..I think another good tip for djs that want to step into being able to do there own m.c. they can take a public speaking course at there local j.c.

@WindyCityMix TO edit video, I actually use sony vegas, it's pretty inexpensive and a great program, and it's for windows, you can see it running in the background. ANd for my events, I use serato video.
Training your guys or gals in a live situation/event should follow very soon after the basic training at home or at the office or reviewing your own gig logs, in my opinion. It's like schooling for DJ's. You won't learn much going to school to be a DJ, but if you have the hands on experience, in a live situation, you're going to learn faster, and better. 20k later, I personally look back and realize that was worthless. Great Tips though!!!
