Charles, Gaudi was actually hit by a tram when he was walking back from work on Sagrada Familia so he was dressed in street clothes. No one knew he was the "Great Gaudi" and they took him to a "poor persons" hospital. Finally they found out who he was and they wanted to move him but Gaudi wanted to stay where he was because he didn't want to be any more special than other civilians. he said something like he was among people like him. Sorry my parents are architects.

Believe it or not, when I was in Barcelona on a one day visit I saw a naked guy only wearing sandals and holding a bottle of water walk near the bridge that splits, he was walking, minding his own stuff. And the people were like whoa what the? Me and my company were laughing our asses off, and a friend took his picture. If you ask about his ... you know. It was in the "normal" mood :D. For one many of the shops and cafes/restaurants are closed all weekend in all areas of the city bar the major tourist strips.
