it took me a really long time to find this on your blog you should put straight links to videos you post or make a D.I.Y.`` section so we can find things easier because i went through page after page and it became a little tedious.
it would have been nice to see the finished product or at least a link to where you are directing us to go. I searched Dose.ca but still couldn't find the dress. Real Good....
@xGossipxoGirlx -- the top six inches are left open because they are the arm holes. American Apparel has a bunch of videos of how to wear the dress, watch a few of those and it will make more sense.
@deathmaster1512 She means to sew on the seam allowance of the last 6 inches on each side so that you tack the seam allowances down so the armhole will be clean finished. : )
how exactly do you make a basting stitch?

Why were the top 6 inches sewn up then unsewn? I don't understand the part with the hand sewing, what did she do there?

@hibbleton71 Jersey knit fabrics work great. Light, not see through, and it keeps its shape. And it's very similar to American Apparel's fabric.

@amberlbrowning- its actually really flattering because you use the straps to make a custom fit. I was skeptical at first too lol.
