I do the same thing at night. Twist into pony tail. It gives me a loose body wave flow. Flexi rods make the curls pretty but too uncomfortable to sleep at night. I love your videos so far trying to subscribe to you but I can't find subscribe button on my iPad

Another good thing to do is use A tie-up hair net that lays the hair down as well and then put the scarf or hair bonnet on. One brand of Olive Oil which I use On a daily basis which is good for laying the hair down and giving An excellent shine and its an "Anti-Frizz" it is "Organic Root Stimulater Anti-Frizz Olive Oil Glossing Polisher" I'm never without it!! Its also good for when you blow dry or press the hair it makes it a lot straighter.
