1st time I heard The Matches was when they were opening for +44's debut tour. I thought it was so awesome that they showed up in the parking lot after the show and had a small acoustic session (Shawn dropped the guitar he's playing in this video)

The funny part was when everyone watching them ditched them as soon as people saw +44 leaving the building. Cool meeting these guys.
