every frikkin ultrabook out there is a mac air clone! except the toshiba which i like a lot.

The only thing that's stopping me from getting or considering this Ultrabook is the absence of an SD Card slot, and I think for a lot of consumers an SD slot is important, since over 95% of the consumers have Digital Cameras.

@Kimarey depend's on what you use the computer. This is for portability while the U400 is for everyday use.

Correct, the right side would rock, you could actually push it down with your finger and it would sink down. Take your weight off it and it would come up off the table so that it was essentially only sitting on the bumpers on three sides, really frustrating.

Does the laptop sit flush when set down on a table? I previously owned a Lenovo X120e and it wasn't flush so every time I went to type the palm rest sank down. I've noticed this happening more frequently with light weight laptops.

Lisa i watch all ur vids. but today i need ur help! how do i update the zenbook trackpad firmware in detail coz i'm a beginner pc user. haven't got any knowledge about how to update the trackpad firmware. Please help. Thank in advance

I like the mac laptop hinges, the way the screen is attached to the body. Very well designed which is unlikely compared to other laptop models. Likewise, that makes me like U300 and zenbook!

BUT, if you're gonna copy a product, at least do it with conviction! Abuse that only chance. This one doesn't even have a backlit keyboard , same with the zenbook -- shame to the designers tsk!

p.s. and it's windows! *sob*

The bottom line is these ultrabooks all run Windows 7 which is the deal-breaker. People buy MacBooks for OS X above all.

@MobileTechReview Hey Lisa i love your reviews but i think that Lenovo went for the macbook pro look unlike the zenbook or acer aspire going for the airs look but i think the zenbook nailed it. to get the same thing you get in a stock ux31 in the air it will cost about 300-400 dollars more and still it isnt quad core, not as much ssd space, not as good of a screen, no accessories, ect. but i think that lenovo made a good comp but nothing compared to the zenbook price wise (40 dollars more).

@TheRatay23 Just like Apple is copying the Android notification-system and so on. Everybody copies things that sells. Obviously Apple has set the bar when it comes to designstandard so everybody else need to catch up. If you look at all the ultrabooks you will see that they have all gone their way to make them look a bit different, there arent so many ways you can build a minimalistic design for a laptop you know.

I still prefer the original. Actually the pro version of the original considering it's the same price as the Lenovo at about $1150 w/education pricing. MacBook pro all the way

Macs are great but compare to windows pc which owns about 92 percent of the market. So yea Mac are nice by that I mean the design. Os is okay. I wouldn't mind using it. But wouldn't be no point for me to. I own a android phone. So yea. Not that much support on macs for android or any at all
