@us3210 hey hey, I did that using Kinky Curly Curling Custard.... After shampooing and conditioning my hair I took small sections added the curling custard and twisted them like I was twisting locs/dreads. Secured each one with pins and sat under a dryer, once they were dry, I separated them, to make them smaller. Hope that helps :0)

@scs08 I alternate cause I'm still trying to find which product I like the best... A sista is on a tight budget so the products I use aren't all organicky like Kinky Curly Knot Today and what not... But I use water (the best) shea butter mixed with coconut oil and what ever hair oil I have in the house at the time LOL. I use two products by Organics by Africa's Best...Texture My Way and Olive Oil Leave-in-Condiitoner... I like them both. And I might be going back to Organix coconut oil products.

I try to be extremely gentle with my hair when it comes to detangling, I wear protective styles a lot and I love Shea butter mixed with different oils (coconut, jojoba etc...) I'm on a growth journey so we'll see... I hope that was helpful... be blessed :0)
