Basset Hound or Mountain Goat?

you know for some really weird reason my basset loves to watch Telenovelas "spanish soups" after a good run outside...so, he is just funny as hell

I have 2 dogs and they go everywhere I go, couch, chair, my bed, they give you love , trust, devotion and I love bassets, but Oz doesn't seem to have many, I have seen 2 in 46 years i have been here. Love yours

Lucy is just gorgeous! I love basset hounds and she is one of the prettiest I have seen. We do allow our dogs on our furniture, I know a lot of people don't, but I like to have a dog on my lap or next to me when I'm sitting and reading or watching tv. Thanks fof posting.

All our bassett does is climb! His favorite spot is on the back of our couch! I once found him ONTOP of the dining room table. I have no clue how he got there. I had moved all the chairs away from the table and out to the garage because I was getting ready to sweep. I came in from the garage and there sat Scooter in the middle of the table.

No problem. I totally understand your viewpoint. I realize my dogs are spoiled, but they have given me lots of joy, so much more than I never have received from my kids, that I feel the need to have them close to me. Do you have dogs?

I used to have a basset hound he was all black with tan a round his nose and on his legs his name was bubba he died of parvo he took his last breath in my arms

@jetsismis Dogs are family members in my house and are always welcome on the couch or bed. But I respect others decisions as they do leave a lot of hair and can smash the cushions from laying on the backs of furniture.

Oh it's a really bad idea to put that type of TV in direct sunlight if you plan to keep it for more then four years.

She was six months. We just adopted another Basset this week and she now lays on the back of the couch when her new sister is on the couch. I think she is trying to say that she is the Alpha dog.

don't you just love Basset Hounds? They are the funniest. I actually have two Bassets and a Rottweiler. My Basset wrestle and play all the time. One of these days I will post a good video of one of their wrestling matches.
