30 seconds is a long time for an engine with nothing in the water passages except air. The Olds had a hard enough time with head gaskets as it is. Olds aren't cheap to build...
@boostedballs olds engines had twice the nickel content of say a chevy engine , and the head gasket issues were with the diesel olds engines , the jet drive running dry would be the only issue with this run , the engine should be fine with a 5 min or longer run most likely .....
were did you get those parts

The engine can deal with the 30 seconds of run time its the nylon orings on the jet pump impeller that cant deal running dry
