@dzc4627 That's the point of it, though. I see nothing wrong with Nintendo throwing in a bit more Japanese culture into their Pokemon games. It's comments like this that prove just how Americanized we've become. You'd be surprised of the types of things that we sensor or change entirely in forms of media that get shipped over here, simply because it's obviously not American. There's even an episode of Pokemon where they call a rice ball (a Japanese food) a doughnut.

If you ask me, I actually like the nice change to the typical Pokemon spin-off traits, like the evolution, and the fact that the characters still seem to be like Pokemon trainers. I would love to see some physical interaction with the Pokemon and the main characters, like training together, and congratulating each other when they win.
