As you no more blacks dieing from smocking then whites because of poor and uneducated about smocking altogather.

My hope is that african americans will learn how to say no to drugs smocking cigarettes.

The United States needs to keep tobacco legalized. At this point there are too many people hooked on it to be made illegal. The government is making billions of dollars through sin tax that they would otherwise have to get through other methods.

Actually, clove cigs are now pulled.. Doesn't matter if they already existed. Also, terminology such as "light" and "ultra light" are being removed.. Already happeing. Look at a pack of "blue" pall mall or "silver" salems. (both are lights with the name changed)

You like the direction the country is headed in? But, didnt you post the video because you felt that the government was trying to pull the wool over everyone in the countries eyes; they tried to pull this off as preventing teen smoking, when there is really another agenda behind this ban. How can we like the direction of our country if that direction involves our government continuously lying to us, as they slowly take away our rights, as we become more and more accustomed to loosing them.

I agree. Protesting anything seems ineffective. So, what steps can we as Americans do to prevent our government from intruding any further on our rights, whether it be the right to own guns, smoke, gamble, ect I am just starting my life as an adult; I would like to be an active American citizen.

This is an overstep of our governments rights. The government of the United States was put in place to protect American citizens not control or regulate them. Come on people, we dont need the government to regulate things. It should not be any of their business who or what I or anyone else in America smokes. I am very disappointed in my government. What can we do to legally protest the misuse of our government? Do we have any real rights left, to legally make an impacting protest?

The only problem with protesting is that people are so lethargic and uncaring about their rights, you won't get enough people to protest, and you'll go to jail so fast you won't have a chance to raise your picket sign.

The things that make clove cigarettes more harmful, and more addictive, are the ability for cloves to numb your lungs so you don't feel the smoke as much, and this means you'll keep it in your lungs longer.

That's why it's more harmful. Similar with American Spirits, more harmful on the lungs, more addictive, but not additives, so there are less toxins being admitted into the body.

This ban is simply outrageous. It's another way for the Government to treat us like we're five.

We are really seeing no change with the Obama administration just newer ways of selling old broken ideals. It is unfortunate that there are many that still are idiologically emotionally attached even at this point, the same rediculous political bias remains. I just hope more will see past the bull shit.

wow, you still have "lights" there, it's been gone here in Europe for a while now, instead we now have "silver", "blue", "white" and stuff like that. (there's no name, only the color of the pack is different). hasn't affected me, but if it keeps more kids off cigarettes - not a bad thing.
