If they stop making Hostess Twinkies and Cupcakes, the "powers-that-be" in the United States might as well re-introduce legislation to reinstate Prohibition and stop the manufacturing ALL alcoholic beverages! It would basically be on the same level! I live in Canada (Thank God!!) and Hostess' filing for bankruptcy DOES NOT affect us up here in the Great White North. Hostess up here is a separate company. We will always continue to have our Hostess Cakes here in Canada!!!
