  • Haha, I looked this up because I wanted to play a few LP songs - thanks mate!

  • I love his tuning. I have tried Drop D tuning and Drop C tuning and some Eb but this tuning is by far my favorite. So exactly what would you call this tuning? Db?

  • @BTBAM27 D Flat Is Drop C Flat

  • @CubertBeMySuitePee I Meant D Flat Is Drop C Sharp

  • @CubertBeMySuitePee Yeah, i know this.

  • cheers m8

  • omfg somone reply now please!!!! how do i get Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb for my notes?!?!?!? i have a tuner! but wtf????? is it like c# or somfin?

  • Whaaaaaat? Sry I don't get the point^^

  • use the tuner, and make it c# B# c# f# a# d#

  • @Techno5niper ok, C# is the same a Db. Some tuners go by either Flats or Sharps. so G# is the same as Ab, C# same as Db, F# same as Gb, A# same as Bb, and then D# is the same as Eb. If you still dont understand, comment back. (So going by ur tuner. The tuning from the first to 6th string is D#,A#,F#,C#,G#,C#.)

  • Is it possible my Electric Tuner tune to this Tuning?

When I press the Flat button ?...

Cuz it's very complicated with harmonics and blah blah...And I want to play LP :S !!!

  • The "flat" tuning is just Eb,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb,Eb. Thats just a halfstep. You need 1 and a half ;)

  • Oh I get it...Thanks man...That's 3 Flats then right?

I mean the button in my Tuner..Sorry for disturbing you again man .

  • does cannibal corpse play int his tuning?

  • Sorry I don't know

  • dude they play in like, drop B i think

  • no i foudn out the tuneign they play in is A flat ive tried drop b it dosent work with the tabs

  • @seanmacman15 they play in Bb standard or G# standard

  • @seanmacman15 no i think they play in G but im not really sure

  • could u mind tell me something about

the notes of the Db tuning ?

    for example

    6string : E or some thing

5sting:f or something i have a tunner but i dont know how to tune at Db , well

i hope that u can help me

    well cya ;)

  • From low e to high e:

db,ab,db,gb,bb,eb as the title says ;)

  • Is there a name for this tuning? like... D sharp? or something?

  • Drop Db

    (Drop D flat)

  • thanks man. big help.

  • ok Ive been playing for about a year im using a yamaha Folk... and im completely confused lol I dont know what sound to look for thats really my only problem, if you could like explain in detail to me how to do this or send me a message that would be sweet

  • The sound? so have some "waves" between the nites if they aren't correct... If you tune the string down make shure that there aro no such "waves" in the end... If this doesn't help you ask again ;)

  • Waves? D: Oh dear god lol Ok what do you mean waves, like I have a good ear.. its just im not in the whole... Being able to tune my guitar by ear yet and such, but My friend Has taught me how to tune my guitar with the strings (Im sure you knwo what Im talking about) and I guess all the Official terms liek waves are confusing me, what do you mean like.. I dont know.. yea what do you mean lol

  • And I hope Im not wasting you time lol Ive been tryign to learn how to tune my guitar fdifferently for like months but I always mess it up.. I also want to do Drop D

  • If you want to do drop D then tune the low E string to D... Sorry I don't understand your Problem

  • to tune Eb you have to use the 6th fret of the A string and tune the E string down to that note. If you have a tuner where you can chosse to tune a half-step down you can do it... otherwise you don't have any chance^^

  • Dude, thanx awesome lesson, but can you please show how you tune Eb and the rest with a guitar tuner, I don't get it
