For example, "rabbi" Cunin recently said "It's the rebbe who runs the world". This statement is not a new phenomenon. Impatience will destroy us. Trust me on this. Mashiach will come when he will come. In the meanwhile we must believe in his coming and yet we should adhere to the rest of the Torah. Read my notes again please.

Mashiach will come no matter what. However, we as Jews must not be obssessed with this concept as the sole idea of Judaism. For over two thousand years we have been a patient people and every time we have expressed impatience we have given rise to a false Mashiach, we have created for ourselves a person who died without building the temple.

It's unfortunate that the golus in these last moments is so unbearably dark that such an opinion, completely against the spirit and law of Torah, and coming from innocent intentions could be formed.
