  • i hate horrer films that aren't um..like animated like i'm fine with gory animations (sometimes XD) but ones that are like saw, orphan, or anything with blood gets to me but heck i love the music in this and i am tempted to watch it! XD

  • sad ending ever but still awsome

  • why in the hell is everyone reviewing this movie. STFU.

  • @KillDannyMOSH Yes...I am sorry that I reviewed this movie TWO YEARS ago. My bad. -_-

  • its frigging amazing

  • I totally agree Repo was such a great movie

  • I loveees repo the genetic opera! ^___^

  • @sparkesthehedgehog since most of it is singing its a opera.

  • this isnt really a musical. its a rock opera kinda like the wall.

  • @shannonbork777

    ...That's what an Opera is.

  • what year?

  • 2008

  • I GOT ADD DUHH!!

    NAA JOKES

  • This has gone straight to DVD in the UK...no one was pushing it :( I'd have loved to have seen it in the cinema...The Electric Theatre would have been perfect for it.

  • dude =D i heard the song^^ and i liked this when i first saw that =)

it reminds me of a mix of Phantom of the opera/rocky horror music show and Jesus christ vampire hunter" lol

  • Lol It does, doesn't it? =D

P.S- "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" = win

  • oh yes a total win 8D

  • Hm...perhaps. I don't think they share all that much even thematically outside of a revenge sub-plot (in"Repo!", that is) but I can see what you mean. And fair enough. Haha I think there are better musicals than "Repo!", but it's still a worthwhile watching experience imo. Plus, yes, it is very creepy to be singing while killing people but...also kind of funny. XD

  • Damn it! I was watching this movie online but the link was broken! I only got to watch the first 15 minutes.

I don't know where i can find it in Mexico and i'm pretty sure this movie won't make it to movie theaters here.

  • in my opinion its just a rocky horror rip off kinda. they compare it to rocky horror and its nothing like it rocky horror was ten million times better and most people who have even watched or heard of this are rocky horror fans everyone else who has seen this who arent rocky fans or a bit weird hate it

it got horrible reviews and the plot isnt anything new

its not original at all they just took different plots and stories and combined them so cliche

  • Well, you're certainly welcome to your opinion but I must disagree. In truth, the majority of people I've introduced the movie to had not heard of the Rocky at all, let alone fans of it. In fact, when I suggested it to them they did not like it- among them being 70's/80's movie fans so it's not like that impeded their opinion of it. Also, if you'll notice the horrible reviews come only from mainstream critics whereas critics online have largely hailed it as a major, if bizarre, release.

  • Lastly, I would like to say that while it's ideas do often come from many other sources the mixing of them is certainly not something cliche and unoriginal. How many other sci-fi/horror/musicals can you name? "Phantom of the Paradise", "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter" and 'Poultreygeist: night of the Chicken Dead"...there you go . There's three. In...how long? Your point does not hold much value there. STILL, like I said, everyone is welcome to their opinion. Thanks for commenting! =)

  • TESTIFY!! Repo is officially my favorite movie of all time. It's very Rocky Horror picture show meets Saw.

It's such a good film. I'm going to one of the Rocky Horror-esque midnight showings and I can't wait. i really recommend it. All of my friends are addicted.

Thanks for posting a fair review. I think you described it very well. :)

  • Ya, I recorded this review a long time back now and I've only grown to love it more. I have the Blu-Ray and I've been to my local Shadow Casting (in Toronto, Canada) and it was good fun indeed. I highly recommend it as an outing. Thanks for the comment btw. =)

  • You're very welcome. :) Yeah, I've become a superfan. haha. i have the dvd and the deluxe soundtrack, and i broke down and bought a Blind Mag T-shirt. lol. I'm more like a supernerd. I'm from Detroit and my best friend and I are going to the Shadow casting in Toledo Ohio. Sounds like it's gonna be a blast. :)

  • Indeed! I for one am excited (and yet very tired) of waiting for this supposed pay site. I say supposed because Darren and Co. seem to have forgotten about it. =S

  • were can i go to see this movie online? bc i seen half of the begining last nite and i was really diggin it, anyone know?

  • google video

  • he said 8 million when i saw him

  • Alright...this was addressed in the comment below. I would say 8 million makes more sense but he did say 6 when he was in Toronto in November and varying statistics are elsewhere. Either way, please read the comments below before posting. It's not like there's hundreads of them.

  • nice! ...although it was on an 8 mil budget...lol

  • Ya, you know, tha's what I thought and have read everywhere but when the Director was asked he said 6 mil. so what do I know. =S Maybe he had a little to drink before the after-party. XD
