  • @ajbutterfield were you coaching this year?

  • Pussy soccer

  • Even though the Laws of the Game state you cannot score directly on a throw-in, The Goalie touches the ball before crossing the goal line. Therefore, the ball was immediately active to cross the goal line to result in a GOOD GOAL. Good job referee

  • For people who can't play the game. Do you see Barcelona doing flip throws?

  • @KKCA4 - you really think it's necessary to contrast a High School team with Barcelona?

  • @ajbutterfield i find it necessary to say that good teams dont need flip throws

  • hurp durp, gasy ass cartwheel throw ins... play it properly

  • It looked like the keeper touched it before it completely crossed over the goal line. Therefore it is a legal goal. However it he didn't touch it, the restart would have been a goal kick. That was a crazy throw though.. haha

  • haha stupid mexican

  • Lol stupid goal

  • lol! and yes, it is a goal. the goaly touched it, it was stupid, but it is a goal

  • foul throw pause at 0:16 the player's feet are not grounded when the ball has been released

  • well I was debating if that goal should have counted but apparently its already been resolved lol

  • this is me in the video. the goalie was a retard and touched it, but i still hit near post from about 45 yards away, so give me some credit.

this throw in is legal, i do it in college. the only time i have been called for it was back when i was about 12 for finishing my throw more than a yard away from the line.

  • fail at sec :31

  • worst chest bumb ive ever seen

  • fail chest pump

  • @gmsjr1219 i see that both feet were on the ground and that is the part that i'm not saying is illegal. it is the beginning of the throw that the throw becomes illegal. when a throw-in is started the whole of the ball has to be behind your head and the ball wasn't behind his when he started his thrown-in which made it illegal if he started the ball behind his head then preceded to throw the ball in it would have been legal do you understand why it was illegal now.

  • @suematsu89 - that's a good point. I had to look at it again to see if it was or wasn't behind his head, (although I couldn't imagine that it wouldn't be - just the mechanics of how a body would propel a ball in that way require that it begins behind the head.)

And in fact it does begin behind his head - if you look carefully at the frames at 0:16 you can see that as he plants his feet he is bending over backwards with the ball behind his head, as he straightens up his arms move forward.

  • So if i see a ball coming at me very fast, should i just leave it??Lol it really is hard to do

  • that is an illegal throw-in. none the less a great throw-in but illegal.

  • @suematsu89 Its not illegal,as long as both feet are on the ground when thrown, and its over his,its not illegal.

  • only in nevada

  • Christian that was pretty pimp

  • is the goal valid??

  • @dragonking1011 yeah cause the goalie touched it

  • nobody even noticed the flip before the throw???? LOLOLOL

  • CAN EVERYONE STOP RESTATING THE SAME INCORRECT THING FFS. SCORING DIRECTLY FROM THROW-INS IS AN ILLEGAL MOVE.

BUT AS THE GOAL KEEPER TOUCHED THE BALL BEFORE IT CROSSED THE LINE, IT COUNTS AS A GOAL.

    NOW SHUT

    THE

    FOSHIZZLE

    UP.

  • Your allowed to score on throw ins, ive seen it happen in club matches in places like england

  • that proves that u dont need to know how to play football to score!!!

  • Keeper FAIL!!!!!

  • How can any person who plays soccer, or has any interest say it was not a goal? If you think it wasn't a goal then you should take up volleyball

  • shouldn't have counted as a goal, rule #15 states that throw ins can not count as a goal unless another player at least taps the ball after the throw (you can not throw it at yourself either)

  • @RS16SkillLover - the keeper touches it. So it was a valid goal

  • read the rule book it counts

  • This is not directly, directly throw-in goal is no.

  • lmao. this team fails at celebrating. but cool goal though

  • Stupid goalie... Don't touch the ball and it won't be a goal, but a indirect freekick for him...

  • if the ball crosses the goal-line, having last touched an attacking player, without a goal being scored, the correct restart is a goal kick. The same applies for every indirect restart that results in the ball crossing the goal line, whether between the posts and under the cross-bar, or not. So a goal scored from a free kick called for offside, or a goal kick, have the same restart. It gets interesting when an own-goal is scored from an indirect restart by the defender, that results in a corner

  • @nevadaunionsoccer mindfuck

  • i know alot about football, it shouldn't count cause my friend is a refferee and he told me

  • I'm sure it's a miscommunication between you and your friend. if you told him that the video showed a kid scoring 'directly' from a throw-in then he is correct - that should be disallowed and the game would restart with a goal kick. However, the goalkeeper touched the ball before it entered the goal, which is what makes the goal legal.

  • Hate to burst your buble, but that goal should not have counted. Your not allowed to score from a throw-in lol

  • the goalkeeper touched it. So it was correctly allowed.

  • Just to clarify - Law 15 - The Throw-In states that "A goal cannot be scored directly from a throw-in."

"Indirect" is defined as when, "A goal can be scored only if the ball subsequently touches another player before it enters the goal." - law 13

  • @nevadaunionsoccer yu got him there mate

  • @nevadaunionsoccer the goalie tryed to hit it out and hit it in ...

  • @markisginger your bubble was bursted

  • @markisginger

yes you may not be able to score from a throw in..but if it touches someone else; like how it touched the goalies hands, then it counts because it hit someone else before it went in...sorry to burst your bubble. :P

  • that was ridiculous!

  • fantastic video! Congrats NU!

  • That's a wicked goal....What a great win!!!!

  • seriouslyyyy haha can't score directly off a throw in. stupid keeper and stupid coach for not telling him the rules. but the flip throw is legit. but dont use it too much because then you just give up possession lol

  • what a stupid goalkeeper... hahaha

jesus why didnt he just let it in , .. it wouldnt have counted
