i did the same thing to my timeline but i am using grub as the boot menu, what are you using that gives you the three icons? and where did you get that background of the mountains on mac os x

I installed GRUB in to Ubuntu's partition and now this icon is displayed...

that background is one of default backgrounds of Snow Leopard. You can find it in settings..

i think that you shouldn't install mac os x on your Timeline notebook, because there is not enough drivers for this notebook.

native resolution works, bluetooth and webcam works but ethernet port, wifi, trackpad(multitouch) and graphics acceleration don't work(((

@bardtdz Я использовал SnowOSX 3.6, но, вероятно, подойдет более новая версия, если она существует)
