Watch the documentary about the real Lufthansa heist. Henry Hill says that the bosses did a little calculating and decided that it was cheaper to shoot everybody than to pay them. It's cheaper to buy ten bullets than to pay ten guys 500.000 dollar a person. I just think it's funny those guys actually expected to get payed... @Troublesome2008 This is very true. However for some reason certain people go left unharmed. Obviously the people that are high enough up decide who they like enough not to kill and who is expendable.
