  • Dell showed a amazing rise at nasdeq up 15.90. It is amazing how Asus and Dell work together. Other companies are seeing high gains in the stock market becuase of Asus. Great company to work with. Even I have seen some benifits from Asus just not as high as Dell I'm happy to work with Dell and Asus. thanks again Asus.

  • small laptops for small asians...

  • I would easily let him rent my house.

This is a reliable guy, you can see it right away. I will buy a EEE 900

  • Wow that guy speaks english pretty well

  • It a berry supah-fly computah.

  • So let me get this straight. In NYC you have the NEW 900 available for $299? if so, how can we be in touch, I am in NYC

  • YOU WANT DVD

  • is it the same prossor and gfx gpu as in the old eee? if so.. i can live with the old one ;)

  • in nyc we have it for $299

  • DMC081... are you saying you have the EEE 900 or are you talking about the older version?

  • the first version that cam out

  • ASUS says that the Eee PC 900 12G will launch in mid-2008 with a price tag of €399 ($600 USD).

  • I love when he say "from here...to here"

    :)

  • If a company could come out with a laptop that uses the same type of screen that those smart phones use, I mean the big fat wide ones, the ones that have a gorgeous screen with the really small pixels... If someone was to make that but with the same size screen that the Eee has now, man. that would be some incredibly awesome resolution, but these screens have big pixels... which suck.

  • Too bad there's not a pricing yet, unless I missed it...

  • its gonna be around 399euro in europe (the 8g version) the main markets will be covered this summer. but mind you they'll be running late just as last time...

  • well when i go to university in 2010, then this eee pc will be history, and therefore a new ee pc will be out, im hoping it will be like this:

    2GB ram

    64GB SSD

    1500 MHz proc. (ULV)

and maybe a better video processor, maybe something from nvidia (NVIDIA ROCKS YOUR L337Z0Rz!)

  • dell sux my blahlsss...

  • LMAO I LOVE CHINESE/AMERICAN ACCENT!

  • a higher resolution would be far more interesting than just a bigger display.

according to earlier statements and the "not mentioning" in the specs the rather low resolution will be the same.

so i see it not really crucial to wait for the next gen, because it will be 33% more expensive and even some mm thicker - just for cosmetical new features.

  • It also has higher resolution: 1024*600 if I am not mistaken?

  • You are correct.

  • the 12g is linux the 8g is xp isnt??

    is what he says..

    doesnt sound strange?

  • Well the money that would have went to the larger SSD has to pay for the Windows OS.

  • SO that sounds good to me!!

  • Windows sucks so bad because you have to pay for it...

  • I can think of alot more reasons!

  • Looks like portability is being favoured more than hardware power these days.

  • I wish dell would make a ultra portable, but whos got strength to wait for that to happen ... im a bit tired carrying around my m70 by now. cell phones became popular when they shrank in size .. so will laptops. mobile electronix is the way to go!

  • Dell is supposed to be coming out with something to challenge the EEE by summer.

  • Actually you only have to wait a month or two. Dell is introducing a 8.9 inch screen mini laptop that is supposed to be under $500.00.

  • really?

Where is there more info on that?

  • how is that 8" Dell model called?

    Thanks

  • imma get one!!!! whoooooooooooooooooo!!
