I was pleasantly surprised too at how far back this tune went and Annette Hanshaw who I never heard of before does have a marvelous voice. It is surprising how many tunes originated back in the 20's or 30's. Another one comes to mind, Hermin's Hermits sang "Leanin' On A Lampost" which was an old original by England's Ukelele strummin' George Formby (versions of it are on youtube also) You've made a lot of people happy, Atticus70, with all these high quality top-notch uploads. Keep 'em comin'.
@jenzeppelin I made the same discovery a decade ago or so. (Tiny Tim became famous for his outrageous comic persona, but was actually quite a scholar of early music.) I felt the same way when I first heard Vaughn De Leath's 1927 version of "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" It's always a bit of a shock to discover something from the rock 'n' roll era - like "Who's Sorry Now?" - is actually from the 'teens or twenties...
Annette was the very best! How could you not fall in love with her!

@julahall24 You were born just in time. 80 years of music fed directly to your computer.
When I was your age we didn't even have remotes. We had to walk 3 miles through 6 foot snow drifts to change the 4 channels we could get on the TV.
