@coyote3000999 Yeah... in the re-enactments, the actor's kayak was yellow. The producers of the show decided we should color the kayak yellow in the real footage to match the re-enactment's kayak so as "not to confuse the viewers." Go figure.

@explosivehotdogs That's the re-enactment kayak. It was yellow with red streaks on it. Doug's actual kayak was blue but was colorized yellow in the show to match the re-enactment kayak so as "to not confuse the viewers."

see ~ 2:54, 3:01 and 3:07, it looks like there's blood all over his kayak (those streaks weren't there before he went over the falls)...
