hi my dog can say no but not yes any ideas on how to teach the yes and also the scoot he can bow and reverse but not together. I use the clicker.

@jazzcollie Hey, you can do either touch training or luring for the nodding trick. If you've already begun touch training, then have your dog touch a post-it or lid while looking down- Then click and treat from *above*. Your dog will begin to associate the downward nod with a reward from above and you can click once they offer the upward motion on their own. I could probably make a tut. video on how to teach this if you wanted. Let me know what you think! Take care and Happy Clicking. :)

Thanks for your nice comment! I will send you a private message with some links on what Zander and I do together. It is referred to as Clicker Training and uses Positive Reinforcement(Praise, play, food.. Anything the dog wants, even opening a door to go outside!) to reward desired behaviors, while you remove positive stimuli to diminish undesirable behaviors over time(Process known as extinction). Best part is, your dog chooses to participate! No intimidation/corrections/force­. :)

Awesome video, like always! The unwrapping of Christmas presents was soooo cute! I also loved the service dog tasks, tugging the fridge, retrieve/hold snuggling (buddy). I also really liked the yes and no. Although it would be really hard to take a dog saying no serious while wagging their tail so exuberantly. LOL but, that comes with having A Golden- my favorite breed! One of my favorite tricks is the moon walk (I think you called it scoot.)

Thanks! Actually.. The Buddy trick was an accident and we shaped it into a trick. I've been trying to teach Zander some "on my back" type tricks and he ended up putting his paws on my shoulders one time! So.. I decided to take it a step further and get him to rest his chin on my shoulder at the same time! And, that's how it came to be. :) I named the trick Buddy, because he was just being my little Buddy, hanging out, heheh. Take care!
