@ZetteSue If you have been painting 8-10 hours a day (concept, textures, etc.) since 2003 then you would not be surprise. This one is not that well compose either, but oh well... until next time. peace!
Thank you for all the time you put into your videos and art. They are excellent. I had a question about how you added the star. I understand how to create a new layer but I was wondering how you changed the perspective and resized it? Any help you can provide on how to do this would be very helpful.
You inspire me. I say that honestly, though I really liked when the screen saver kicked in for a fraction of a second and you carried on...makes it more personal than a more finely and generic tutorial.
Amazing tutorial man, Ive learnt alot from your vids, thanks alot! I love the way you control your colour and values so easily. I wish I had a fractor of the skill you posses.
I have a problem with what? I can't even remember what I wrote hahaha. Sorry. I can't imagine I have a problem with anything you did here, I love your work. Must be misunderstanding.
@ALMat101 I agree about digitizer tablets being difficult in the beginning. They were the same for myself as well. It was somewhat like doing blind contour to me since you look at the screen rather than the surface you draw on. You get used to it though after enough time, so keep up your practice :). It goes a long way :D
Yo dude, great pic man.. i like what u did to the helmet! I think you should do a step by step tutorial on how to add your " value " after your lineart.. you always go black/grey adding value and then u add colors on top of that and i have no idea how to do that XD.. im new to this stuff but when i draw on the computer i always go with a base color then shade it and then highlight it.. u kinda add the highlights and shading before the actual colors.. id love a tutorial on all that! Thanks =D
@ALMat101 Wacom intuos III for this one. We have big Cintiq at work. YES, I agree it's hard to get use to in the beginning for me too. But after a year or two...it will be just like wheeling your good old pencil. Art , like a lot of skills, always takes time. The more you do the better you will get. :)
@idrawgirls thanks! this will really help me a lot since I am planning on majoring in animation/art and also since I will be taking photoshop for motion pictures this fall!
Captain America will always be my favorite super hero. Seeing art like this only helps to reinforce that. Thank you for the awesome painting :)
