Rwd is nearly always faster from the line than Fwd car. I participated in SaabSpeed2009 one mile top speed event and my manual gearbox 540i was faster than any chipped or stock Saab there. Saab needs some serious boost numbers over stock to successfully go against 4,4 liter V8. It is always easier and cheaper to mod turbocharged engine though.Btw my 540i/6 has killed Supra Mk III (3 litre turbo), Corvette C4 (5,7 V8) and Audi S8 (4,2 V8 265kW) in drag race. All those videos are also on Youtube.

when i read the comment made her i start to wonder if people are high on crack??? saab 9-5 aero and the bmw 540i is not even close to being in the same league. the 540i is WAYYYY faster than that saab. and this is what happens when you race it side by side. stop with the " thats not what i experienced" or that guy cant drive for shit"...accept that the saab is very very slow. (i should know i often drive one..) and they are horrible cars if you are used to driving a bmw..

haha en saab 9-5 aero even med chip har inga chans mot en 540i. har prövat många gånga med min kompis saab..min var en 2002 540i med m paket...fremhjuldriven och tung också...det är two helt olika bilar till helt olika behov. kör forsigtigt grabber
