there was a counter to the sonic boom spam. if the one i played in the arcades you woulkd start with guile and throw a million sonic booms to fill the screen then you sould switch to ken who could dragon punch all the way across the screen without leaving the ground almost creating devastating combo that hurts even when blocked. cheap but awesome to watch

Meh.... there are so many versions of this til its not funny. But the one in the arcade where I live was the best one. Ken and Ryu dragon puch when horizontal and the full lenght of the screen, all projectiles did a ziz-zag up and down pattern (no matter where the opponent was) and Zangief SPD went through the bottom of the screen and came back down from the top before its final slam to the ground.

Did you play the upper to that version? When Zangief Lariat emitted Yoga flames from his feet? Or Ryu and Ken threw twin fireballs that went up and down crossing each other? or how bout Balrog(Boxer) Dashing straight that threw dual fireballs? That was the cheapest and hardest version to me. Also if you hold Fierce and Roundhouse then release while walking forward you teleport behind your opponent.
