where is this double bass pedal people keep going on about? there isnt anything in this song that cant be played with one pedal.

as for the drummers playing ability i dont see how you could judge from one song. its not anything particularly complicated but this kind of music demands simplicity. its well written and well played for the song.

Well, if you know so much about drums why are such a minority supporting your view? One with "drum knowlage" would analyse his drums well enough to realise that he is skilled... And I think his drumming is nothing like a "pop" beat it's actually pretty fast, for instance compare the drums of this song to "pop" music such as alphabeat, girls aloud, all that stuff.

No, I don't think it's petty at all. I was just expressing my opinion just like you expressed yours. I was only telling you information that any person with "drum" knowledge would know. But I do have to admit that he used double bass very well. Double bass is hard to use if you use it the right way.

@eclectica1 BlessTheFall2008 likes Bless the Fall...cut the guy some slack considering that their only musical frame of reference is the tired old screamo/death metal drum beats that always go at about 250 bpm, with copious amounts of kick and snare, and absolutely no originality. not to mention the ear blasting, monotonous vocals, containing no melodies or harmonies. it's no wonder he can't appreciate the talent of BRS.
