  • It's basically the same thing with the 08 Si I just did it .thanks guys .just make sure u order the right kit .. The both have same parts but for some reason the stalk it's wire deferent

  • Am I able to do this to my civic si? since I have the same exact bumper and everything?

  • @Kwakski Kits are available for the Si too.

  • when i bought an 08 civic si it came with factory fog light, but the fog lights only turn on when i put the high beam is there anyway were they can also turn on low beam and not only high beam

  • @Chuckie831 You can set it up that way but I don't have directions on how to do it. You will need to hack the Honda harness to bypass the high beam cut off.

  • @chhonda how could i set the fog lights to low beam since my are set up to high beam

  • @Chuckie831 It should actually be vice versa as stock. I won't be able to diagnose your wiring remotely but if this is a stock fog light kit from Honda I would recommend a trip to your dealer to have them trace the wiring.

  • i got a 2009 civic Lx and it Has The same bumper.. i bought it like that

  • Cool thanks!

  • Do you know if you can put HID light bulbs in those fog lights?

  • @njbestofbest If you can modify the system, sure.

  • On the 2007 - 2008 Si Sedan model, with the Si kit, Can u turn ON the fogs with the DRLs? And do the fogs go OFF when you switch to High Beam? Is there a way to turn them on independently? Im thinking about ordering a set.

  • @belizetj In the stock set up the fogs will only work with the headlights turned on. High beams will shut them off. If you want it to work differently from stock you will need to modify the wiring on your own.

  • @chhonda Thanks man. Im going to order a set this weekend.

  • So the fog lights attach to your stock front-bumper?

  • @chhonda Well, I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex. Does that mean I have to cut holes out for the fog-lights? Because mine doesn't come stock with them. That's where am getting confused.

  • @xVxRayJohnathaNxVx For a 2000 model you do have to cut the bumper for the fog light assemblies.

  • Please clarify why the turn-signal/light switch was removed.

  • @lifesong4student because the "stalk" is what now has the fog light switch

  • dont bother doing this if you're going to turbo your car.. the intercooler piping would get in the way

  • is it the same procedure for 08' civic si sedan?

  • damn i have an 08 civic jux like tat one but idk how to put mine on...... i mean like i do but i want it to look very nice like tat n plus do u guyz kno how much it will b if i take it to da show n let them do it for me???? i wonna kno how much it will b????

  • I love 8th gens, TWFA5

  • i did mine. no problem installing after market fog lights. ^_^

  • I added LED cornering lights to my Accord; they were small enough to fit (with small mirrored shrouds) in the grill without any cutting. I added a stock Honda foglight switch to turn both of them on in on foggy days, so they stay on independently with each turn signal and as a pair with the fog switch or when the backup lights come on (lots of schottky diodes). They're aimed out a little less than 45 degrees which, believe it or not, makes them useful in all three situations.

  • man the making of the holes is almost like on my 93 EH2, but the wiring is easier for me cuz im just running the fogs along with the headlights, so i cant turn them off, but i might relay them with my high beams. nice vid though

  • that looks pretty easy.. i have a 2dr 07 civic and im purchasing foglights for it.. the bumper is diff from the sedans.. any tips u can give me .. i wanna do this on my own lol

  • Will the front bumper of the 2006 honda civic coupe fit the 06 civic sedan?

  • wow my dad told me that a civic like that would be easy to do for him. but he's never had to do any wiring that complex. especially taking off the bumper. i'm wondering if i was to get this car would i take this for fog installation at dealer? or somewhere else? because i have no idea what they price estimation would be.

  • The '09 Civic has fog lights slots installed in the bumper, unlike the '06 - '08 models (like this video shows). I already made an appointment to get fog lights installed on my '09 Civic Sport, in total it costed me $590 Canadian including tax but that's with the Honda Benefit Club. Without the HBC, it's going to cost $614 without tax.

  • nice video , can you upload the one for the 06 civic coupe and also if is there a way to turn them on independently can you show us how to do it . thanks

  • Yes I too would like to see this happen.

  • I wonder how long it takes for this whole process...

Also, how I can I turn on the fogs independently or do I have to turn on the headlight?

  • It took our tech 1 hour from start to finish. The fogs do not run independently unless you mess with the factory wiring.

  • is it the same process for the coupe?

  • about the same , just a bit easier because the bumper is already precut

  • i ordered some OEM foglights. and i was wondering if i brought them to a Honda dealer, would they install them? and how much? thanks.

  • would be cool to have double fogs:P
