Americans need to make education (their own education) a priority. It's serious, it's important. Everyone ought to visit a library at least once a wk and frequent bookstores. READ, READ, READ. Take a night class, register at the community college, attend lectures, join a book club, a writers workshop. Learn stuff!!!! I have a bad case of cognitive dissonance when it comes to maher's argument that government could not fix the levies in New Orleans, fight wars, etc., yet he expects the federal government to be able to run a health care system.

I have a question for maher: why not let the states decide what health care system they want? Why not let the states retain more tax money and spend it on other positive things other than incurring debt and spending it illegal wars?
